Duties and Taxies
-International customers (outside of Australia), please be aware that regulations for customs duties and import taxes vary from country to country. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate of these fees.
- We ship on a DDU basis, meaning the recipient will be responsible for paying the customs charges before receiving the package*. The carrier will contact the customer for payment instructions once the charges are calculated and the package is ready for final delivery.
- We are not responsible for replacing or refunding any orders that are stuck in customs clearance.
** All shipments: receiving customers are responsible for paying import duties and taxes.
** All DHL shipments will be subject to additional levies during the busy period from October 1st, 2025 to February 2026. Cara Sanders will not be responsible for any additional levies incurred during this period and all invoices will be forwarded to the collector for payment upon receiving from DHL.
Shipping Policy
- After receiving your order, each piece is printed, hand-framed and packaged by our supplier.
- We cannot deliver packaged items over 100cm to Post Office boxes.
- Cara Sanders is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of your parcel.
- All art and prints are sold on a made-to-order basis, please allow 5 weeks production time.
- If you require by a specific date please ensure this is specified so we can work with you to achieve this, however this cannot be guaranteed.
- Shipping is via a courier network and depending on your location we estimate it will take between 2-10 business days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location, you will be provided with tracking once dispatched. Orders are dispatched from our supplier workshop based in Luscombe QLD 4207.
Returns Policy
- We do not accept returns for change of mind purchases as our art, prints and frames are all custom made. Please choose carefully before placing your order.
- If a framed print is purchased for an international order by mistake, we’re happy to process a refund. Please note Shopify retains a 2.9% international processing fee, which will be withheld from the refunded amount.
- If orders are damaged in transit, Cara Sanders will replace the item and process returns claims via Couriers.
- Please note: In order to process a return, we MUST have photo evidence of damage to the exterior packaging and photo evidence of damage to the item.
- Damaged Returns Claims must be submitted within 24 hours (1 business day) of receiving the damaged item.
- Please forward all Returns Claims to: info@carasanders.com.au and clearly state the artist name, order number and client name.
