Shipping & Delivery

Each piece in this collection is created by hand, in limited editions - made with care and never rushed. Because of this, works can sell quickly, and I'd hate for you to miss out on something that speaks to you. If a piece catches your eye, I recommend securing it sooner rather than later.

Below you'll find a guide with general information, shipping options and delivery timeframes.

General

You'll receive a notification as soon as your order has been dispatched. Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are accurate before placing your order - it's always worth a quick double check!

If you need to update your address after placing an order, you can do so by reaching out to me directly at info@carasanders.com.au with your name and order number.

Please note that once your order has been dispatched, address details can no longer be altered. If a parcel is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, the cost of reshipping at the standard postage rate will be the responsibility of the collector.

Shipping Information

Every order is a little different, shipping timeframes depend on where you are and what you've chosen.

Please keep in mind that courier timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees. I'll always do my best to get your artwork to you as promptly as possible, but real-world delivery can sometimes fall a little either side of the projected date and I appreciate your patience when it does.

For Time-Limited Edition Prints:

These prints are made to order once the collection window closes, and once they're gone, they're gone for good. To secure yours, make sure you complete your order before the window ends.

Domestic Shipping: 

All orders are printed and fulfilled by my trusted Australian fine art printing partner, who share my commitment to quality. Unframed prints are carefully rolled and dispatched in a protective tube, and framed prints are securely packed in a heavy duty box or safety shipped by an art courier - both accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring your piece arrives safely and feels every bit as special as it is.

  • Unframed prints: Flat rate $30 | Allow up to 2 weeks from the close of the collection window.

  • Framed prints: $55 - A1, $150 - A0, $250 - B0  | Allow up to 4 weeks from the close of the collection window. 

International Shipping: 

International orders are printed and fulfilled by my trusted fine art printing partner based in Los Angeles, ensuring your artwork is produced and dispatched closer to you. Unframed prints are carefully rolled and dispatched in a protective tube, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring your piece arrives safely and feels every bit as special as it is.

Please note that VAT/Import Taxes are not included in the purchase but must be paid prior to delivery. You will receive an email from FedEx or DHL with a link to pay these taxes, which will go directly to your government's customs office.

  • Unframed prints: Flat rate $75AUD | Allow up to 2 weeks from the close of the collection window.

  • Framing is only available within Australia.

For Original Artworks: 

Domestic Shipping:

For domestic orders within CBD areas of QLD, NSW & VIC, your piece will be carefully transported by a specialist sensitive art courier at a flat rate of $220 within 3-4 weeks.

For deliveries outside of CBD areas, you'll be charged the flat rate of $220 at checkout. Please note that regional deliveries may incur additional costs beyond this, once your order is placed, I'll review your delivery location and be in touch if a higher shipping rate applies. Please allow 3-6 weeks depending on your location.

International Shipping: 

For international collectors, all original works are shipped unframed, not only the safest and most considered way to send original art across borders, but also reflected in a reduced price. Your piece will be carefully removed from its frame and stretcher bars, then rolled and secured in a shipping tube and dispatched via DHL, ensuring it travels in the very best condition.

This also opens up a wonderful opportunity to have the work framed locally in a way that feels entirely personal to you and your space, your framer, your vision. 

  • Unframed originals: Flat rate $250AUD | Allow up to 3-4 weeks from the date of purchase.

If you'd prefer to receive the work framed, this can be arranged at an additional cost. Simply purchase the unframed international option when the collection goes live to secure your piece and avoid missing out. Please get in touch as soon as your payment has been processed and I'll source a custom delivery quote for you through Pack and Send who ship with DHL.

Important Information for International Collectors — Duties & Taxes

Please be aware that international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and VAT upon arrival in your destination country. These charges are governed by your local customs regulations and are the responsibility of the collector - they are not included in your order total or shipping rate, and are beyond Cara Sanders' control as the artist.

Not all countries will incur these charges, but I'd encourage you to check with your local customs authority before placing your order. 

Please note that if duties or taxes go unpaid and your order is returned to Cara Sanders, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. In the event of a return, a refund will be processed for the artwork, however the original shipping cost is non-refundable.

How do I check the status of my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email notification with a tracking number so you can follow your artwork's journey. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become active.

What happens if my parcel is damaged in transit?

In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged, please photograph both the packaging and the artwork itself before doing anything else, and get in touch with me at info@carasanders.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. I’ll do everything I can to make it right.

Lost parcels

In the rare case that your order appears to be lost in transit, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at info@carasanders.com.au and I'll liaise with the courier on your behalf to investigate. Please note that once an order has been dispatched and a tracking number issued, the delivery is in the hands of the courier - however I'll always do my best to support you through the process.

Refunds

No returns or refund available once artwork has been purchased.
